DIVERSE PLANT AND WILDLIFE
Wildlife at Saltwater River includes Dolphins, Skate, Stingray, Flounder, Flathead - great fishing for you or the Sea Eagles, Hawks, Peregrine Falcons, Pied Oystercatcher, Black Swans, Egrets and Wedgetail Eagles. Mussels, Oysters, Pipis and Soldier Crabs abound.
Disturb skate and flounder while walking through the shallow or glide over the top with our Tandem Kayak provided free of charge.
WILDERNESS WALKS
The Tasman Municipality comprises the Tasman and Forestier Peninsulas; combined they offer the most diverse day walking options in Australia. Choose from 35 fantastic walks in and around Tasman National Park. From 15 min short easy family walks right up to hard, steep, rough tracks for the more adventurous as well as the stunning Three Capes Track Wilderness Walk.

For surfing, kayaking, rock hopping, diving, cruising or swimming. There are so many to choose from and you often get them all to yourself. And, right at your doorstep, a pristine beach and a sea kayak to paddle to nearby Deer Point.
